Advice can be full of judgement and presumed superiority. It’s usually doled out by those standing on higher ground and often it does more harm than good but there’s also the advice that comes at just the right time, that saves you from making a mistake or encourages you give it another try. That advice can be a lifesaver and my guess is that most of the time, that advice comes from someone whose’s journeyed ahead and make their own missteps and is now willing to share those with fellow travelers around them.
My hope in staring this blog is to share a bit of the friendly wisdom I’ve gathered along the way about exploring, living, learning and growing. I’m in between in lots of places in my life – between 30 and 40, between careers, between young babies and teenagers, between knowing what I want and wondering what’s next. The advice on this blog is not from an expert or a seasoned veteran but I hope it encourages you in some way to find your own adventures, make a few mistakes and pass along your own advice to those around you.
