Best Kids Advent Calendar - Feature Image

I can still remember the squabbles between my brother and I as we maneuvered to be the last one to open the double doors of our Advent calendar. Claiming that chocolate prize meant that all the hard waiting of the last 24 days was over and Christmas would finally be here.

And while I’m still a bit nostalgic for the cardboard calendar of my childhood, complete with Victorian Christmas scene printed on the cover and chocolates inside, I’m impressed with so many of the creative and fun advent calendar ideas for families there are.

Whether your family has an annual tradition of an advent calendar or you’re just trying it this year. I wanted to share some of my favorites that I found from around the web. Don’t worry, all of these are easy and simple to do!
